So, the new year started, Jack went on vacation, and the office became very busy. It’s Murphy’s Law that when you are very busy in one part of your life, you should be busy in all of it right?
Well that’s what happened to me. While Jack was away, a family member became very ill, and I was running to and from the hospital daily. What’s amazing in the world of 2015 is that you don’t actually have to be at the office to get your work done. The office phone was forwarded to my cell phone, Jack’s and my email’s were coming to my cellphone, and I have a great Data plan, so I didn’t have to worry about how much data I was using.
I was able to keep up with all of our work, and be with my family.
And of course, as soon as life slowed down, so did the office, and Jack came home from his holidays. This doesn’t mean we are slow now, it means we have time to follow up with old customers and make new cold calls.
